Leinster v Glasgow Warriors: Match Preview
Leinster have been one of the outstanding sides in this year’s competition, winning every match they’ve played – culminating in the 62-0 annihilation of Gallagher Premiership side Harlequins last weekend.
They’ve played in five of the last seven finals, so know what it’ll take to get to Cardiff in May. That said, with their last European title coming in 2018, the four-time champions will be hoping this can finally be their year.
Glasgow Warriors also saw off Premiership opposition last weekend – beating Leicester Tigers 43-19 in the round-of-16 – but know they’ll be facing a step up in class on Friday. With the two sides providing a healthy contingent of the respective Scotland and Ireland teams, Glasgow will be hoping the match doesn’t echo Scotland’s current 11 game losing streak.
They know, however, that they have the capacity to beat anyone on their day, having won the United Rugby Championship last season.
