Summer-like weather builds in across Central Illinois

It may be spring, but it's definitely going to feel like summer through Friday.

We'll see plenty of sunshine today as highs creep into the mid-80s.

A warm front moves in this evening and may kick off a few showers.

That front will bring strong winds and more humidity Thursday and push highs to around 90°. While there's still uncertainty, a few strong to severe storms could break out Thursday evening.

It'll be another hot and humid day Friday with highs in the upper-80s. As a cold front approaches, more showers and strong storms are possible later in the day.

The weekend will cool down a little with highs in the 70s to near 80° with overnight lows in the 50s. It'll be mostly dry.
