An overturned tractor trailer is slowing traffic along Route 22 in South Whitehall, state police say.

Trooper Nathan Branosky, public information officer with Pennsylvania State Police’s Troop M, told lehighvalleylive.com the truck flipped around 9:45 a.m. in the westbound lanes at the exit to Route 309 south.

The rig is the only vehicle involved, and the ramp onto Route 309 is shut down, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s traffic website 511pa.com.

It’s unclear what led to the accident or if the driver was injured. Pennsylvania State Police in Fogelsville continue to investigate.
